Now, I am a fan of AMAPS clothing, because it's American made, and if I don't know what to wear or can't find something, I can always rely on AMAP to have something I can wear out on the town. AMAP has become very popular in the last two years, I have spotted some of the celebs like Amber Rose (most noted for the Red Disco Pants), Christina Milian & Solange. Trina's "LOOK BACK AT ME" video is decked out in AMAP. AMAP is everywhere, almost on every corner like Starbucks...

Now, the ugly side of AMAP is when these, hood as chicks, with pot-belly's, Cherokee D'ASS asses, drip titty's like a cow, spot the dog skin, and just a whole bunch of tacky nasty-ness step out to clubs like BBKings. Breakups are often times never easy, but Public Ones can be far more painful ;(. I love Kelis, since her star track days. That is where my obsession began, a blue curly hair girl that was what I'd call a rebel who in many ways reminded me of myself. I have followed her career, and when I heard she'd married Nas, I was so Happy for her. Nas, is a smooth sexy dude, "on the low" lol, nonetheless black love is a beautiful thing. I have always had an infatuation with New York men. I have had my share of encounters, and it never matters, if you get on their bad side, its just bad. So my question is more for myself, is there hope for me after this? Like if Kelis and Nas can't stay together...who can? LOL, is this a valid question? I don't know!? All I know is that, their love and life seen through images, looked happy! All good things must come to an end, as well as bad. I heard, that Kelis got pregnant in an attempt to keep their relationship going, but I assume it might have done more damage then help. So now she's broke and asking for $80,000 g's a month. Apparently or even allegedly, this 18 year old girl pictured above feel asleep while being tattooed. She asked for 13 stars on her face and ended up with 56!!!! WTF! I would be killing this artist right now! Not only is this a horrifying story, the shit just looks ugly as fuck dog! The artist is saying she asked for that amount, but most tattoo artist, who care about their work will talk you out of something so ugly/tacky. Maybe he feel asleep too, or wait, look as his face. Face tattoos can be nice, if done correctly, like Dangers, hers is pretty. I hope this little girl sends a message out to everyone, tattoo nightmares are fucking real! Okay, if you all know me personally, you know I have been trying to grow my hair out forever in a day. It's a nice length now, but I am seriously thinking about a cut. Something long in the front, so I can wear it curly and big, or straight with some nice curls, and shaved in the back. I am just itching to try something different. I have such a round face, I am not sure it will look right!? Any comments?

There are days when u wake up in the morning and thank God ur alive. Look around ur room and feel lucky u have material things and a roof over ur head. U get out of bed and realize that "Today is a new day." Another chance to make things better and do things differently.

Today isn't one of those days.

Sometimes u fall in love. And then the other person falls out of love. Sometimes u get hurt when u've done nothing wrong. Sometimes u trust the other person too much and plan ahead of urselves. Sometimes, after 10 years love isn't enough.

Sometimes u dream. And then sometimes u dream that u'll never wake up. Sometimes u get ur heart broken and while at times ur ok, and ur smiling, and ur laughing, and ur dancing, and ur drinking - most of the time ur dying inside.

Sometimes u tell urself it will be ok but then after Day 150 u have to start all over again. Sometimes u slip. Sometimes u walk backwards. Sometimes u keep ur head up high, watch beautiful blue waves crash over sand as fine as baby powder and tell urself ur stupid to be thinking of anything other than reapplying sunblock in 15 minutes while in paradise and then sometimes u come back down to Earth.

Sometimes u want to talk about it. Sometimes u even yell. But most of the time u just stay awake thinking of absolutely nothing ... or absolutely everything. Sometimes u try to write but ur hand starts to hurt or ur tears seep through the paper and mess up the ink. Sometimes u want to call ur best friend, ur new friend, or ur mom but u know u won't. Not just because 10 minutes later ur over it but because sometimes, they just can't be there for u. Which is ok. Because most of the time u don't want to be a burden. U don't want to rain on parades. U don't want to be unecessary stress.

But then u don't know what to do.

So sometimes u sing. Sometimes u write songs. Sometimes u post blogs when u know that u shouldn't spill ur soul to the world. Because sometimes people mistake this for wanting attention and needing people to feel sorry for u. Sometimes u don't want anyone knowing anything about u, and sometimes it's a cry for help. Almost always, u end up feeling stupid. So ur stuck. So while u may delete the blog, u don't regret it because it's exactly how u felt at a moment in ur life. So sometimes u just pretend. U pretend nothing in the world is bothering u. Sometimes u agree with what another person is saying just to make them happy and stop accusing u of feelings that u don't feel. Sometimes u just nod ur head and say "OK, yah ur right," just to shut them up.

And then there comes a time where u promise urself happiness. U plan out ur day on a wipeboard. U make appointments and lunch dates. U remind urself that u totally AREN'T "THIS" GIRL, and ur not ugly and ur not worthless, and u ARE good enough and ur fucking awesome. So u sign a contract with urself and are convinced all 5 points will be checked off within 30 days. Sometimes u even wear eyeliner to work (Because u think that if u have makeup on u'll be less prone to crying for fear of raccoon eyes) and flat iron ur hair. Sometimes u wear heels instead of Tims and tight fitting jeans instead of sweats and there's never a time when someone doesn't mutter under their breath, "U are beautiful." So sometimes u reply back to cute text messages with even cuter ones and let insignificant things become bigger in hopes that this time it will distract u. And then when that doesn't work, sometimes u go to the gym and feel wonderful and eat healthy but still sneak in molten lava cake on a Friday night. But sometimes, that's not enough.

It's never enough.

Sometimes u can make months of progress and throw it all away because u love someone too much and don't love urself enough. Sometimes u can't believe the things ur telling urself. Sometimes u can't believe the things people don't tell but think of u.

Sometimes it's so hard. Because most of the time ur making ur friends laugh so u feel like ur letting them down by being anything less than funny. Sometimes u want to give up, but u ALWAYS know that ur better than that.

And then in the back of ur mind for a split second ur think that u deserve better than him.

So u listen to Ne-Yo and Usher and Maroon 5 and even Kanyeezy. Sometimes u look extra cute to work. Sometimes u read every enouraging quote and repeat it to urself 5 times a day, make it ur headline, and write it on a post-it and stick it to ur computer monitor. Sometimes u have good days. Like seriously, an entire day without thinking negatively. Sometimes u even tell urself, "Oh they'll be back," or, "Karma is a bitch." But then the reality is. Sometimes people don't come begging for forgiveness. Sometimes people just don't care. Sometimes someone can just kick u to the curb after all u've done for them. Sometimes they move on without EVER looking back. Sometimes they won't fight for u, they won't make the effort.

'Cuz happily ever afters aren't guaranteed.

Sometimes u feel like an inconsiderate brat because there's so many bigger things going on in the world and ur wah-ing over missing the smell of someones neck, the feel of their strong arms around u, or the playful kisses of ur favorite pitbull. Somtetimes u can't FULLY appreciate a friend getting married or an elderly couple holding hands. Sometimes u feel resentful, NOT bitter towards others but resentful towards ur own self for thinking, "That should be me," when u see a happy family playing at the park. Sometimes u even feel selfish (When at all times there is nothing wrong with wanting more for urself) because u want to be there for other people, u want to pay attention, and u want to be comforting - and u do and u are, but most of the time while ur hearing ur not listening. And u feel horrible for that. Even more horrible than u already feel.

So sometimes amidst all the rants about "shit not being fair/never catching a break/how could u do this to me/how could i do this to myself," while u know its true u also know complaining about it won't bring u back on ur feet or that person back to u.

NOT EVEN SOMETIMES.

I remember a time, when Swag meant actually meant something. Many years ago to describe a male counterpart that had it more than going on, all you simply had to say was he had a swag to him, that is why I like him, or think he is fly. Now-a-days, the word swag has been overused by so many fucking people, when I hear the word I want to karate chop those persons lips who utter the word. Like why does everyone have to say they have swag, in their facebook status, or on their myspace page, or fuck on twitter? Everyone does not have swag, you have to be elected a swag. But none the less the word is played out like jersey dresses. However if you're K. Hilson, keep using the word swag mama, and I will keep singing along with you.

I'd like to introduce you to a familiar word to replace swag, cool. Everything that is "swag" is cool, the word cool, in itself is cool. He's cool. She's cool. That's cool. Turn my cool up, turn your cool down...etc...Use it. I am too cool to blog :)...

Oh and here is a new word, I heard this weekend, Dragon. Of course the word exists, but not in such context as I will describe next. Dragon known to most as an animal, or beast. Well, that in a sense has to do with this context, Dragon can now be used to described a male counter part who is disrespectful, crude, rude, perv'd out, ugly...

It's Almost 6am, and I've been awake since 11am Wednesday. I started working with this clothing line as a designer so, a lot of my time is being dedicated to that. Which is super cool, and I am 75% happier than I was last week prior to this engagement. At night I spend my time designing my own line, and I got really into doing this tank and look at the darn time. Anywhoo, today I have been looking at a lot of female street wear lines for inspiration, as well as do's and dont's. I applied to work for MTTM, and didn't get the position, so this may be a biased post/critique. MTTM falls short in my opinion at being too plain for street wear. The whole idea of street wear is to be bold and make a statement. The name Most Official Bitches should carry the Most Official Shit. MTTM is known for making some bold messages like "Other Bitches Ain't Shit" which is dope, but its almost 20% of the words and 80% design. This seasons look book is not all that hot, not the best setup and styling. Their shop section which flows like a look book, has a plain looking chic who isn't as cute as Tabitha. It's just all wrong. However, MTTM seems to collect more sells and is respected as one of the best female street brands. I do like the hoodies and sweaters for the spring, but not much else. I don't look at this season and go WOW! I'd pick Hellz-Bellz over MTTM any day. Because the sayings like "fuck off" are just as in your face as MTTM but the graphics are aesthetically more pleasing. MTTM is just super plain. With the economy in this slump, and as a consumer, I would like to see more uplifting powerful messages and graphics coming from MTTM. The designs from the first two seasons were dope, and the collaborations are always on point, but what is a line if you can't stand alone on your own? Ehh...STEP IT UP MTTM or STEP DOWN!

Okay, I am a big food connoisseur/consumer/critic/binge eater, I love food so much, I put eating above almost all tasks in life. I live to eat. I love all types of food, I am a fan of mostly all shows on the FOOD NETWORK, I enjoy conversations about food, I mean anything under the sun about food, I love...but Ladies and Gents, this here website, makes me want to become not a vegetarian, not vegan but an air-ar-tarian (one who eats nothing, just breathes in air) It's that serious. The bad part about this entire situation is that 50 is embarrassing the "baby mama" and she doesn't even see it. All she saw was a free trip to NYC, and a Fur Coat. Where in the fuck is the loyalty? No matter what she went through with Ross, there was no reason to congregate with the enemy. 50 is not her friend or a friend of Ross. She knows that he is beefin' with her baby daddy so why in the fuck is she stating all of his business in such a "matter of fact" manner? Clearly the bitch doesn't care! She wasn't seeking advice, or pleading for Ross to come back to her, she isn't hurt, she is just broke and wants some $$. He moved her in when she got pregnant, so he isn't that bad of a guy! She didn't explain any wrong doings of Ross other than low monthly child support (what's new) so why is she going in on him to no other than "ruthless throw shit it your face 50"? I can see her wanting to talk to her friends or Ross' friends but not 50 of all people...like I can't say this enough, its just so wrong!!! At the end of the day, when she looks foolish, and is on that plane back to Florida, arrives with an eviction notice on her Miami home, the first person she will call is 50 who will probably laugh at the bitch, then she is gonna call Ricky Ross and I hope he has enough since just to walk away, not help the bitch and let her fend for herself. By no means did she do this to help anyone out but herself! This woman is ruthless, and I'd be upset to have her as a mother, its not only going to affect Rick Ross but his kids, which are her kids. What a stupid ass bitch!! 50 is wrong too, going so low to seek out all his baby mama's. I really don't think anyone should really care, they're baby mama's for a reason, not wifey type...so who should care? I am rethinking this whole post, it's sorta worthless to even put up...but heh' I am going to do it anyway!

I've recently been coined the term PreTTy.PepperMinT.Princess by a friend of mine & the name has caused my princess senses to go crazy! Researching my princess peers unveiled some interesting news. OH NO! There has never been a Black princess from the hundreds of Disney character's made over the years. Disney's first Black AMERICAN princess is causing controversy already! The Princess & The Frog has a main character, Princess Tiana, voiced by Anika Noni Rose of Dreamgirls. Most of the rest of the characters are black as well, [Oprah Winfrey voices Eudora & Terrance Howard voices James]; all except the prince. Prince Naveen of Maldonia is voiced by Brazilian actor Bruno Campos and is suppose to be black, yet various Disney supporters say he looks more white than black. Some say the black community should be happy we finally have a black female princess and others think the interracial-looking pair is too much for kids to handle. I grew up loving heroines like Mulan [asian], Pocohontas [native-american], Jasmine from Aladdin [East Indian] & of course Ariel [mermaid?? lol]. I am personally not offended by Disney's portrayal & being that I am of the lighter skin complexion for the black population, who's to say Princess Tiana just isn't into lightskin guys?? I MEAN IM JUST SAYING. Not all black people are dark skin! & Not everyone is on their Keri Hilson "brown-skin poppin"! We need to embrace this black oriented Disney movie and also realize the bigger picture, this is the first AMERICAN princess as well, whether black or white. I know ! I've been MIA with the posts!!!,,,but what a better way to start!!! Im in California & got hit with the LOVEbuggg!!!! Im staying in Carson, right outside of LA. I've been here since March 6th and my host Shannon has taken us everywhere! [Meaning me and my 3 friends] I'm having a blast! Im from Queens,NYC; so I'm use to SEEing tourist, not BEing one!!! The things I've seen since my childhood days on 90210 & Clueless just don't compare! Cali is great. I'll always be a New Yorker at heart, but Cali can DEF qualify as my 2nd home! The nightlife is LIVE. The first night we went to Club Element & ran into Shane Sparks hosting a performance for the Strikers ALL Stars! [ABDC] YO: Why is Shane like 5 foot 2??! ANYwho, I visited the classic places like the Walk of Fame, Sid Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Kodak Theatre! & Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles [YUM!]. Even to the smallest places like Lucy's Mexican Drive Thru [remember from Baby Boy, when Taraji Henderson found the condoms in the backseat and screamed on Jodi, "GIMMIE MY SHAKE!!!", yea there.] & Crenshaw High School [Love & Basketball use to be my favorite movie! =). ]

Saturday night was more chill. We went to the Comedy Union for Bill Bellamy's taping of the auditions to his show 'Who's Got Jokes!' Some ppl were funny, most were not. One guys main joke was "Don't you think it's wrong to drink Capri Suns as an adult?? It's just one gulp & it tastes sacred like UNICORN pee." [,,,,silence,,,crickets in the audience] & moving on! There was a noticeable change in the way ppl party! Its more about what car your driving TO the club & not what you have on or how you look IN the club. Strange! Sunday night we decided to hit a celebrity hot spot called MY HOUSE in Hollywood, which i find to be such a FAB name for a club, so I thought we were riding in style in my homegirls Fire Red CLK coupe,,but to my dismay there were chicks driving Bentley's, Rolls Royce's, Maserati's, Lambo's Aston Martin's, one Red Bugatti [oo la la]; Range Rover's seemed to be the most popular choice. Miles, the little brother from Moesha came thru in a Maybach. MAN!! Not one hood Dodge Charger in sight! lol. Almost every club has its own parking lot with $15-20 valet which i find so helpful.

Besides the nightlife, the shopping is AMAZING. We hit downtown LA which has all the things NYCs Canal Street has, except picture Mexican vendors instead of Asians! They even had a knockoff Forever 21, straight off the truck! I found the only thing to buy here are the $5 shades which were so dope. The real shopping was on Melrose tho! OMG i felt like i was gonna spend my life savings & almost did! Wasteland is a thrift store where you can find anything designer! The prices are far from cheap tho! Some other cool stores were Rojas & TeenageBillionaire. Just as we are leaving Melrose to head back to the truck, we bump into Jay Leno! So of course being the ham that i am, i had to get on the cameras someway somehow! He was looking for talent on the streets of Los Angeles and he found it! I made Shannon sing bcuz she does it well & I was her backup dancer, along with our other friend Shonda! We didnt do much in the background but we sure did fake it! Then Leno steps in on our moves all off beat! LOL It is suppose to air Wed March 18th so hopefully we will make the cut! There is so much I can say but I'll end with this::::California is quite the cool place. It's not as warm as I had hoped =( but i am still having a blast! I'd be such a "Spoiled Little LA Girl" [Kanye's voice] if i lived here! NEXT STOP! ViVa LaS VEGASSSSSS! *

Finally a video for Day 'n' Nite! The first time I heard this song, was around this time last year at a concert Cudi performed at (SOB's I think). The entire crowd was silent while rocking their heads to the beat, it was so surreal. I remember being on Aim with Callender trying to get him to accept the mp3 file for this song. I just realized while I blog, the reason he didn't download it from me was because he was there with a beer in hand, and that unforgettable smile, listening to it just like me along everyone else (DUUH KAY) Haha! Club Coke, celebrating their 5th year anniversary of Coca-Cola's newest marketing campaign aimed at the European Dance Scene and their Love for the drink as much as their nose candy. I am not a sniffer but I often times will indulge in a nice cold Coke, most times cherry, but either way I do like to sip a coke. What better way for them to promote Coca-Cola than by getting Justice and So-Me, Ed Banger's designer to create the newest Design on the coke bottle?

Above are a few picture's and the video ad, which is inspired by Justice's Music Video "DANCE". The coolest part besides the pop-art design, is that the Bottle is glow in the dark! The bottles will be available in the best clubs around the world!

I'd love to get my hands on a bottle and save it as a novelty piece.

After talking to some of my friends, I hear a lot of Shoe Companies do this, to get Ideas. So be careful if you plan on submitting your designs to a company for a contest.

I love, love, love and love, how great this flyer turned out. Took me about two hours to design, (mainly the naked girls)! Anywhoo, DJ ROXY COTTONTAIL & NI of NINA SKY will be pumping out some bomb tunes all night. It will be a great party, I have a table with bottle service, stop by and get a drink :)

With the release of Mac x Hello Kitty hitting MAC stores February 12, 2009 you already know I am super excited! I am a big fan of Hello Kitty as well as MAC makeup. I am glad to see this collaboration!

It's super sexy, and I plan to purchase as much makeup from this collection, to save and cherish forever.
